Our publication is designed for the Kentucky law enforcement community and stakeholders.
Please see “Special Factors” entry.
The Kentucky Law Enforcement magazine is the only one of its kind in Kentucky, which reaches out to law enforcement about issues that affect them daily. The magazine is produced by the Communication Branch of the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training, the state’s primary law enforcement training academy. Our small staff of five produces all the content and design for the publication bi-monthly without supplementation from advertising. The print magazine typically runs about 28-pages, and is complemented by KLEmagazine.com, which includes additional content uploaded twice weekly. The magazine represents roughly 25% of duties for which the staff is responsible.
Jim Robertson is a 19 year veteran of the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training where he has created videos and images for a wide variety of training purposes. Jim previously worked as a reporter and videographer for local television news organizations.
