Prior to COVID-19, the City of Littleton created and distributed a bi-monthly print newsletter, called the Littleton report. When the pandemic hit, our communications team realized the extreme need to get information out as quickly and effectively as possible. We created a digital Electronic Newsletter called the Littleton Report Online. This newsletter is emailed to subscribers and distributed across all of the city's social media platforms. The first issue was released on May 1, 2020, and was a huge success. Our team has diligently distributed content every week on this platform since then.

The target audience for the Littleton Report Online is all residents, business owners, and visitors to the City of Littleton. This newsletter distributes valuable information about current events in the city, as well as resources for residents and business owners.
The Littleton Report Online has been very well received! This newsletter has gained in popularity and now has 3,325 recipients and that number increases with each email blast. We have seen increased activity and engagement with an average of 300 campaign URL clicks per newsletter. Meaning that recipients of the newsletter find the information valuable and are actively following up on content to find more information, provided through those links. The majority of subscribers are in the United States, but we have seen 29 subscribers from Canada and even several subscribers from France, Portugal, and Romania.
The City of Littleton has an exceptional team that rose to the many challenges that 2020 presented. As the world shifted to a digital reality, the newsletter was integral in communicating information on changes, innovations, and health and safety. The growth in subscribers speaks for itself. This weekly commitment is a heavy lift for our small team, but it has become a lifeline for all in Littleton. In a world of quarantine and uncertainty, we have been able to provide trusted reliable information in a timely manner. Our team is extremely proud of this accomplishment.
The Littleton Report Online gained over 3,000 subscribers in just seven short months.
The Littleton Report Online has subscribers from all over the world including Canada, France, Portugal, and Romania.
